Blog Assembly: For Runners

I like to poke around the web and read lots of different blogs.  When I find some good ones I’ll highlight them in the “Blog Assembly” posts.

Here are three blogs I recently found that are mostly about running that I’ve enjoyed:

Skinny Runner – this girl cracks me up every day.  But jokes aside, she is a serious runner.  She just ran a 3:23 marathon. Congrats!

No Meat Athlete – this guy is a vegetarian marathon runner.  I like it!

Runner’s Kitchen – running along with some seriously delicious looking food

As you may or may not know, I am a runner most of the time.  I ran on the teams in high school and college and still run most of the time now (I tend to take a few weeks off a couple times a year).  I’d like to write about running from time to time.  I have a lot of running planned for this year with training for Corporate Challenge in May and June.  I’m also thinking about running my first marathon (eep!).  But this blog doesn’t really seem like the right venue to talk about running.  Or is it?  I’m not sure.  I’ve thought about starting another blog about running, but the thought of writing two blogs is a little daunting.

Any thoughts?  What would I even call it?

  1. I’d LOVE to hear you blog about running. I am a “jogger” at best. Would love to improve though on many levels. Ran my first 1/2 in January!

    1. Hi Jen! Thanks! That’s awesome you finished your first half. Isn’t it a great feeling? I love the half. I think it’s a great distance. Ever think about doing a whole marathon? I’m considering it this year, but eeep it makes me nervous. That’s a lot of training!
