This is how Kansas welcomed the first day of Spring yesterday:
With a freaking blizzard! It was the strangest thing. We had 60 degree weather last Thurday and Friday. Over lunch on Friday I was driving around with my windows down. Then the temperatures started dropping Friday evening. And by the time we woke up Saturday morning, there were several inches of snow on the ground. It continued to snow all day long yesterday. I measured the snow on the picnic table this afternoon.
It measured 5 inches. I think a lot has already melted this morning, so I think we actually got more snow than that.
Needless to say I am not planting anything in the garden this weekend. 😦 Hoping it will dry out enough next week!
